Why can't you see someone in Process View?

Steps to determine why a user cannot be seen in Process View

To determine why a user is not appearing in Process View, there are five key areas to investigate.

  • Is the user added as a user in the PG User Info screen?

    • Follow the path: Administration > Users > PG User Info - to validate the user has been entered into the system and is "Active".

  • Does the user have an evaluation type assigned to them?

    • Follow the path: Evaluations > Config > Evaluation Assignments to validate the user has an evaluation type assigned to them.

  • Does the user have an evaluator assigned to them?

    • Follow the path: Evaluations > Components > Evaluation Rights to verify the user has an evaluator assigned to them.

  • Does the evaluation type the user is assigned to have an evaluation process created?

    • Follow the path: Evaluations > Components > Component Manager to verify there are components (goal setting, survey, summative, etc.) in the evaluation type the user is assigned to.

  • Have the user’s components all been zero-instanced?

    • If the user has been entered in the system, the eval type has been assigned, the evaluator rights have been given, and a process has been created in the Component Manager for the eval type, the last item to check is under User Components. Follow the path: Evaluations > Components > Component Manager on the District Process side under User Components, select the user from the dropdown and verify components are set at "1". If all components for the user have been changed to "0", increase the component instance to "1" and the components should now appear in Process View.
