Making Learning Visible - Teacher/Student Relationships (0.72 Effect Size)

Teacher/Student Relationship is a variable that can encourage students to be more engaged and involved in learning.  Positive relationships in a classroom assist in making the students feel respected and valued.  Once students feel respected and valued, the students will work harder and perform higher.  By using this example strategy to increase teacher/student relationships educators can create a connection with student on the first day of school and each day after.
