The Evaluation Rights Wizard allows you to assign evaluation rights by User, Building or Department to View, Comment on, Schedule or Submit forms/elements that are aligned to specified components. To access the Evaluation Rights Wizard:
1. Follow path: Evaluations > Components > Evaluation Rights
2. Select the green Add Evaluation Rights button to start the wizard.
3. Select User Level, Building Level or Department Level rights to identify which type of rights you would like to establish. Click Next.
For User Level Rights:
- Choose the administrator(s) that will be assigned the Evaluation Rights. Search by Last Name if desired. Click Next.
- Select the users that should be assigned. You can filter by building, evaluation type, etc. Click Next.
- Select the type of right(s) you’d like to grant for the selected administrator(s). Click Next.
Options:
View: Administrators can view the form/element, but nothing else.
Comment: The administrator can make comments on the form/element, but cannot change any data.
Schedule: Administrators can schedule the form/element.
Submit: Administrators can submit the form/element, which includes the rights to Schedule and Finalize a form.
Component Instances: Administrators can increase/decrease component instances.
- Review the rights that you have selected and click Submit.
NOTE: If an administrator already has rights defined for a specific user, any new rights will overwrite the existing rights. "Super Admin" rights surpass any assigned Evaluation Rights.
For Building Level Rights:
- Select the administrator(s) from each building for whom you would like to assign rights. Click Next.
- Select the type of right(s) you would like to grant for the selected administrator(s). Click Next.
- Review the rights you have selected.
Administrator not showing as an option? If your administrator does not show as an option, the administrator has not been assigned to that building in Site Configuration. See Assigning An Administrator to a Building
NOTE: If assigning rights by building, make certain to uncheck the name of the administrator who is conducting the evaluations because the evaluator will NOT be evaluating himself/herself. Also, uncheck any other administrators in the building that will not be evaluated by the selected administrator.
- Click Submit.
For Department Level Rights:
- Select the administrator(s) from each department (as configured in the Departments section of Frontline) for whom you would like to assign rights. Click Next.
- Select the type of right(s) you would like to grant for the selected administrator(s). Click Next.
- Review the rights you have selected.
NOTE: If assigning rights by departments, make certain to uncheck the name of the administrator who is conducting the evaluations. Thus the evaluator will NOT be evaluating himself/herself. Also, uncheck any other administrators in the building that will not be evaluated by the selected administrator.
- Click Submit.
NOTE: If an administrator already has rights defined for a specific user, any new rights will overwrite the existing rights. "Super Admin" rights surpass any assigned Evaluation Rights.
HELPFUL TIP: To assign View rights to some users for a given administrator and Comment rights to other users for that same administrator, you will need to run the Evaluation Rights wizard twice, once for View rights for certain users and once for the Comments rights for other users.
