What Is the Rapid Cycle Feedback Process?
Rapid Cycle Feedback Overview: A Structured Approach to Accelerate Educator Improvement within the EP Framework
The Rapid Cycle Feedback (RCF) Process offers a structured growth experience for educators through collaborative planning and frequent, short, focused observations followed by timely, targeted feedback. This process aims to accelerate improvement in educator practices and enhance success for both students and staff. The model includes six or more 15-minute observations, actionable feedback, and reflective practices. By maintaining a continuous improvement mindset, educators and supervisors can identify growth areas, set success criteria, and monitor progress effectively. The RCF component in Frontline Education provides tools for collecting evidence, planning, and documenting feedback, fostering a cycle of ongoing professional development and growth.
